Which exam board do you cover?

Oakleaf Education specialises in the AQA specification for both A-Level History and A-Level Sociology, and also supports Edexcel students. Because Dr Oak is a practising AQA examiner, students receive direct insight into how mark schemes are applied.

Which A-Level History topics do you teach?

The recorded courses cover The Tudors (13 lectures, Henry VII to Elizabeth I) and the War of the Roses (7 lectures). One-to-one tuition can cover any topic on the AQA A-Level History specification, including source analysis and essay technique.

What does the A-Level Sociology course cover?

The Sociology of Education with Research Methods is a 7-lecture course preparing students for AQA Paper 1. It covers functionalist, Marxist, feminist and interactionist perspectives on education; class, gender and ethnicity in educational achievement; research design, sampling and ethics; and "methods in context".

How much do the courses cost?

Recorded lecture courses cost £12.99 each. Specimen answer booklets, containing examiner-written model answers to AQA papers from 2018 to 2023, cost £10.99 each. One-to-one tuition is quoted after a free consultation.
